This summer, the Executive Director of Econautics is partnering with the President of Suncoast Claims, Inc. to deliver a continuing education program in New York on "Taking Insurance Claims Green." The program is sponsored by the New York Public Adjuster's Association and will take place on June 17, 2015 at 1pm at Riccardo's in Astoria, New York.
Taking Insurance Claims Green explains how the insurance settlement process can provide a catalyzing event that enables a traditional brick-and-mortar business to transform into a sustainable enterprise through incorporation of green building standards into repaired and rebuilt structures.
This CE offers the following educational outcomes:
Explains why the insurance industry is “going green”;
Explains the emerging trend of “Green Upgrade” options being featured in
commercial property insurance policies in the U.S.;
Distinguishes “Green Upgrade” from “Code Upgrade,” “RCV,” and “ACV”
Explains how first-party claims attorneys and public adjusters can align the
insurance settlement process with the insured’s sustainable business goals in the event of adjusting, appraisal, and litigation of claims involving Green Upgrade provisions.
